Our Story

Three Decades of Early Detection

Neoplastic Cytology Laboratory (NCL) has been in operation for more than 30 years as a private laboratory specializing entirely in cytology. From our location at 113A Collins Avenue in Nassau, we process and screen Pap smears and non-gynaecological specimens for physicians and clinics throughout The Bahamas.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when it is caught early. Regular Pap smear screening is the single most effective tool for early detection, and that work has been our entire focus since the beginning. Our motto says it plainly: Saving Lives Through Early Detection.

We are proud to be Bahamian owned and operated, and approved under the National Health Insurance programme.
